Rage was building within; it grew larger and larger taking over me. The thought that I was worth nothing to the Father burned throughout me. I felt I could not hold back the rage any longer. A fire grew within; it felt as if my wings were burning and my flesh was boiling. I put my hands around my head. The burning was too much. I could not take this anger any longer.
The energy overcame my body. The frustration, pain, and anger began to release all at once from within. It was too overwhelming. I lifted my arms toward the tops of the Heavens.
I shouted, “Why Father, why? How could you grow to hate me?”
Then my body burst into flames. I could feel my wings incinerate in a flash. My skin became flames. The pain was excruciating and I dropped to the ground. I curled up into a ball.
I want to die!
“You will not kill yourself; death is not what I offered you. This suffering will be nothing compared with what I will do to you for what you have done,” the Father said.
I felt the divine energy from the Father break through my suffering. I opened my eyes and watched the flames reduce from my arms. The smell of burnt flesh and feathers hung in the air and my eyes began to water.

Looking forward to writing Chapter 3 this weekend. What plans does everyone else have for the weekend?

Still working on the second chapter of the next book. I'm up to the first major fight scene. Sometimes I wish I could write a book any way other than by hand the first draft....my hand is killing me!

This is my first blog and I would like to start by saying thanks to everyone that has taken time out of their busy lives to read my posts. Let’s face it, there are not enough hours in a day.

I had a debate with my wife, last night; about if, a zombie outbreak ever happened.  I feel there would be an easy solution for human survival. I feel, we would simply need to wait for their bodies to decompose. If your heart stops circulating blood, decomposition is inevitable. So, muscle and tendons would separate from the skeletal system. I assume it would happen before your skin fully decomposes. If I am correct, the image of it would be humorous. Zombies would fall to the ground and remain unable to move as a blob or bulk skin sack. If the skin decomposes first and then the muscle, only bones would remain.

I would like to know how others feel we could survive a zombie outbreak. So, if you have a moment, leave a comment and let me know.

I finished writing the first chapter of book 2 last night!! Hoping to have the second chapter down this week...
